My primary doctor is Danielle M Mangine, DO
I last visited her on February 4, 2026. She suggested that I get a chest CT scan, a kidney ultrasound, and an
ascending aorta ultrasound.
I told her I would have the tests done in Ecuador, and visit her again in August 2026.
I don't have a doctor in Ecuador. I ordered this tests on my own.
The following are tests I've had performed in the last week (latest is listed first). Click link to view the report.
On the report, you can click "View Study" that will show the actual images.
MRI
with gadolinio contrast (March 30)
CT
Urogram (March 27)
Kidney
Ultrasound (March 24)
CT Scan Thorax (March 24)
MRI result summary:
Left renal mass of probable neoplastic origin. Nodular image of liver segment VII
which, based on its
behavior with contrast medium and restricted diffusion, could correspond to a secondary tumor as the primary
possibility. Cortical cysts in both kidneys. Cholelithiasis
CT Urogram result summary:
Nodular lesion in the upper pole of the left kidney; the possibility of clear cell carcinoma should be considered.
Another similar image, smaller in size but with a similar structure, is seen in the right kidney. Cysts with dense
contents, probably hemorrhagic vs. proteinaceous, are present in both kidneys. Bosniak II. Partially calcified cyst
in the periphery of the right kidney. Bosniak II.
Diffuse hepatic fatty infiltration. Hepatic nodular lesion of
segment VII; due to the described renal lesions, it is recommended to supplement with abdominal MRI with gadolinium
or hepato-specific contrast. Simple hepatic cysts. Cholelithiasis. Thickening of the left adrenal gland.
Atherosclerosis. Umbilical hernia. Dorsolumbar osteochondrosis
Liver Ultrasound Summary:
Moderate right pyelectasis. Bilateral simple renal cortical cysts. A contemporary chest CT scan is available for
comparison, showing two lobulations in the upper pole of the left kidney; however, no ultrasound correlation was
obtained, therefore a contrast-enhanced CT urogram is considered essential.
Thoracic CT Scan Summary:
Fisural lymph node in the minor fissure, with no significant change in size compared to the previous study.
Granulomatous nodules in both lung fields. Atherosclerosis. Small hiatal hernia. Cystic-appearing image with dense
content measuring 19 x 25 mm, which could be related to hemorrhagic versus proteinaceous content. Adjacent to this
is another hypodense image protruding medially from the renal contour, approximately 31 x 26 mm. A CT urogram is
recommended.A calcified cyst measuring 18 mm in the right kidney. Calcified granulomas in the spleen. Dorsolumbar
scoliosis. Dorsal osteochondrosis.
I realize that I may have to make multiple trips from Ecuador to the United States. My first goal is to visit with a
Urologist to determine the plan of action.
